Another 6 hours of painting yesterday.... and somehow we managed to get out of working today. The main things- I earned enough money to pay off that bookshelf that I needlessly wanted. (It's beautiful, and it makes me feel that much closer to having a stunning library of my own. You know, the cool ones with the ladders that let you access all the way to the ceiling.) So, I was a nerd-child. Everyone's got to have goals.
I danced my heart out this afternoon- DDR Extreme 2. I hope my downstairs neighbor wasn't doing anything important, because it was a rough run. Funny thing- when you get tired and your feet get too lazy to nail the jumps, it seems like you always stomp harder. :P
More moving fun! Sincerely, I'm *really* excited about the move to Portland. A new start, different atmosphere. I'm looking forward to joining the YMCA that's just down the way so I can get back to lap swimming. (I'm a true Aquarian...) I'll be packing some more boxes tonight. I'll be that much closer. And, I registered for Japanese 101 and I can't even stop thinking about it. I have some hiragana and katakana books that I should work on... to get a head start. *loves being the most knowledgable one in class*
I read Basara vol. 16-19. omg... breathtaking angst. Oh, how I love a tragic love story. Two souls that sing together, yet torn apart by society and moral duty. This one is particularly wonderful since it's the Romeo and Juliet star-crossed lovers combined with the ideas of social revolution and restoring equality and peace. Way hawt.
Oh, and I'm really grateful that so many new friends have found me on zaadz. For once, I feel slightly special. (Really, you guys, I'm fairly uninteresting...) I hope that I don't let them down. ;)
