Morning interview and stuff.

I went in for my interview this morning, and overall, I think it went really well. I'm generally coolheaded about the actual questioning process, but after I get pretty tense. I'm pretty sure the office manager that interviewed me liked me, but I don't have tons of experience. I like animals, and I've been an animal-sitter for a lot of relatives and friends. (I'm not just talking dogs and cats. I mean mice, rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs, hedgehogs, horses, chickens, bearded dragons, and even fire-belly toads.) So, maybe that will convince them that I'm A-OK with animals.
I was still feeling tense and itching for action, so I took my other half for a small shopping trip and cheap lunch at Costco. I got some yogurt and whole wheat pasta in bulk. Most excellent! Then, I bought a soup cookbook, a gift for someone, before heading home.
I tried out one of the workout videos I purchased the other day, and it was actually quite fun. Really low-key and a great way to recover from my intense DDR session yesterday.
Here's hoping for employment!

Ya I am usually pretty good at the questions too, until it comes to the “what are you most proud of in your accomplishments” type questions, ya saying “being a mom” isnt what they wanna hear I guess.
I think you would be great with the animals and they would probably enjoy it as well. Awesome! Best Wishes!
I got the accomplishment thing, too! I was like: “Does my degree count…?” That wasn't the easiest question to answer since I haven't really liked or kept my past jobs for too long.
You could always say “My best accomplishment is being a great, committed employee and an even better Mom.” Seriously, that would be a good way to go. :D
And, thanks! I have my fingers crossed. :)
Cool! I am totally syched for you and for me! I think maybe my tech prob is fixed :-)
With Zaadz just coming out of beta recently, I think some program/software changes might have been made that just didn’t jive with the software/internet browser I was using…..Maybe??? Not sure…….either way……it seems to be working again. So perhaps I can get back to action now! :-)
When will you find something out?
Heidi
What browser are you using? My Firefox has been doing pretty well with all the changes. Didn't even notice them, in fact. ;)
As for the job, I'm not entirely certain. My friend, who worked there previously and gave me a shoe-in, said that it took the place a while to contact her even. So, fingers crossed. :)
Chins up, gals! Success is here!!!!! I can feel it. :) Or maybe my panties are a little twisted…anyway, CHINS UP!!! hehehehe
Love you bunches
Twisted panties have the same feel as success? 0_o who knew!?
Much love right back at ya!
