First, a dose from cuteoverload.com
Well, I'm off for a couple weeks to travel the West Coast. I'm search of of adventure and anthropological insight.
While I'm in Eugene, I'm hoping to find some more essential oils to expand my aromatherapy kit. I'm rather bummed that I won't be in town for the Saturday Market. Live music, delicious locally grown foods... *sigh* My one hope is that we'll make a stop at the Sweet Life (http://www.sweetlifedesserts.com/) for some dessert. This is the first place that blew me away by their vegan and organic desserts. I'll have to walk it off in Alton Baker Park...
Honestly, I have yet to try the famous Portland donut shop, Voodoo Doughnuts (http://voodoodoughnut.com/), which offers *vegan* doughnuts. Maybe I'll have to make a late-night run with the girls this weekend for some subversively sweet treats. ;) Who knows? If I have time, I'll venture out to Alberta and stop in at Vita Cafe (http://www.vita-cafe.com/). I really liked their fried tempeh. There are just so many great places to eat!! 0_0
